Adding Labels To Products
Hey guys, in today's video, we're gonna be showing you all about how to add labels onto your products.
And where you do that, and why it's important that you need to be adding labels in two separate places. So we're gonna jump right into the big screen and break it all down for you make it nice and easy.
So here we are inside one of our test stores in Tiny Brander, all labels are added in the store management section.
So you need to click into store management, and choose the store that you want to work with. And the store that you want to add labels to those products.
So let's just use this keto store at the top for an example, we go across to the three little dots and enter settings.
Okay, and we want to go across to step number 2 Products.
And that will list all of the products within this store.
Now, it's important you understand that there are two places where you can add label designs into the platform. The first one is down here we go to the three little dots.
And where it says Add label onto mockup, this would require you to have a label already, and allows you to add that label onto the mockup only. Okay, that's the important part to understand here. When you add a label onto a mockup, it doesn't do anything in the backend system of Tiny Brander. In other words, if an order comes through, and you've only got your label added onto the mockup, we won't have a label to print on our side. Okay, make that clear again, if you only add a label onto the mockup, we will not be able to dispatch your product, because we will not have a label in our system to enable us to print and dispatch your order.
In order to put the label into our system, you have to actually create the label, which is the next option up in the drop down menu. So if we go into that, and hit Create Label,
and give this a name, say test, label one and create.
Okay, that will actually open up the label editor like that.
Now, of course, you're able to use the editor here to create your own label from scratch. But if you've used the creative credits to have our design team build your label for you, once your label is delivered, you just need to upload it into this section. And I'll show you how to do that right now. So you should have your label in a file from our creative team. And what you will do is you'll go across here to where it says background…
Bg, click into there…
Go down to where it says image here, and click into there.
And you want to upload that image.
Okay, and I have, I'll navigate to an image that one of our team created previously a Keto label.
And if we just hit Upload, you can see it uploads it directly into the template there.
And all we have to do now is hit save. Okay, if we go back, now that we have that label in the platform, any order that comes through, will then have that label attached to it.
So we'll be able to print that label and dispatch it on your behalf. Now, you can actually use the same process for adding a label onto the mockup.
So if we go and hit that link…
We can upload the same label again, that the artwork team would have sent you that same label and we open that up.
And then we have the light box to choose what part we want to have shown in the mock up.
So I'm going to choose that part right there and hit crop.
And then by hitting crop, what that's doing is that's applying that label only on to the mockup.
So if we go back down now and we view the mockup, you can see that the label has been applied to the mockup right there.
So you should have when you finished labels in two places, you should have a label here in the mockup. And you should also have a label here.
If I hit edit label…
You should also have a label here sitting in the label editor like that.
And when you have both of those elements completed, essentially you're done with the label elements of the products. I hope that helps. I hope that makes things clear.
