Connecting Razorpay Merchant Account

Hey there. Today we're going to be showing you how to connect a Razorpay merchant account with the Tiny Brander system. I apologise if I sound a little bit different today, I've just had a wisdom tooth extracted, so I'm still very numb. And so speaking is a bit hard, but I had to get this video done for you guys. So I'm gonna jump onto the big screen and show you exactly how to get this done.

So here we are in Tiny Brander, you want to be down here in Settings, and obviously, in the Payment Settings, and then go down to Razorpay.

Now Razorpay is a merchant account for Indian based companies you can sell anywhere around the world in any cur... in any currency. But it's for Indian based merchants only. So this is for our Indian clients.

As always, the account name can be something that you just set up so you can recognise the account, you're looking for the Razorpay Key and the Razorpay Secret Key.

So I'm just going to call this Jon's Razorpay Merchant Account. Again, it can be anything just so you can recognise it within the Tiny Brander system.

Now to get the keys, we're going to have to go over to razorpay.

So I'm going to go over here and log in here.

And there we go, as we are not an Indian company, we only have a test mode account. So I am going to use the test mode. As you can see, it's in test mode. As you can see, it's in test mode, if you want to go into live, you'd have to move this across.

So we find the keys by going down here on the left hand side to Settings. So you go to Settings.

And then across here to API Keys.

And now you're going to click generate a test key.

That's because we're in the test environment, and you need to test the connection is going to be good. Before you go live, when you go live, you're going to have to do the same thing again. But this time for the live keys.

So we're going to hit to Generate the Test Key. And here they are.

So I'm going to copy the first test key, the Key ID.

And move across to Tiny Brander.

Paste it in there.

Go back to razorpay and copy the secret.

And you can download these keys as well. If you need to store them, keep them safe.

And go back here and paste that in.

And then all we have to do is hit add on the internet connection was.... the integration connection was connected correctly. And if you go down to razorpay, you can see it here.

Once again, I must remind you, once you switch the account to live by moving this over

You're going to have to generate new keys and repeat that process in order to take the live transactions. So that's how you integrate the razor pay account.
