Store Set Up - Templates (Step 8)

Hey there, in today's video, we're going to be looking at part of the store setup in the template step.

So let's jump onto the big screen. And we'll walk you through exactly how to select your template and edit your template to make it unique to yourself. Let's jump in now.

So as always, here we are in store management. And you just have to go choose the store that you want to edit, and go right across to the right hand side where the settings icon is.

Click that. And that will bring you into your store setup where there is 9 steps to get to a live store.

Today we're looking at Step 8. So we're very almost at the end of this series. And these are the templates. Now there's going to be a growing library of templates as we progress forward and add new templates into it. Right now, everybody just gets one template for each category. But we will add to those and those new templates as they come online will be absolutely free, there won't be any additional charge no kind of monthly fee for getting those that will just be added to enhance the experience for you guys.

So all we do in order to select our template is hover above it.

And we click the little pencil icon to edit it. And that will bring us into to edit that particular template. As you can see, each particular category has its own.

This is the male health template.

And this one is the CBD template.

And this one is the skin beauty template.

So let's use this one as our example. And if we go in and hit the pencil icon.

That should open up the editor. And here we are inside the the editor. Now this works like your traditional web design editors, you can replace images, you can change images, it is designed to be rigid, so that it you just almost fill in the blanks replace the text that we have here with your own text to make it unique to yourself, replace the images we have with images that you want. It isn't designed to be completely freeform. This is designed to keep this proven funnel template so that you get the best results out of it. Of course, you can add sections in.

But let me let me go through it piece by piece.

So up on the left hand side here is an image this will be where you would put your brand image or your logo. And if you go into the settings icon of each section, you can see that we have the image there it tells you the image size.

And if you... and to replace that image, you just need to create an image of the same size and drag it in here, you click that that will bring up your library.

And from there, you can upload to your library here by dragging and dropping, or indeed by just clicking it and navigating to wherever you want to be to find the image you've created. Right now, I'm just going to leave it as as it stands. But that will replace that image in there. And you can use that image as a link as long as you want to link to somewhere externally or somewhere else on the page.

The background image, again is replaceable. So that will be over here on the on the right hand side in this section. And you can see that the little paint bucket there.

That gives you an option of giving you a background colour or a background image. Of course, we've used the image. And we have that right in there. And you can just replace that image to something completely unique to yourself to give the site a completely unique look.

Now in this particular funnel, we haven't created our label at this stage, which is why this is just showing as a standard blank cream pot. If we had created our label, and our mockup.  In the product section, step number 2 in the setup, this would actually automatically bring in our product, our branded product so that you can see exactly how it would look on the site. But for right now it's just showing this placeholder. But as I said, if you'd have gone through the steps from start to finish and created your label already, and put that onto the mockup that would automatically be in there.

So if you want to edit text, you can just click into it like this.

And if you hit the gear icon, you can edit the colour, the background colour, the font size, the height, obviously, you can change the font to something different. We can change that to Oswald, for example.  And we can bold it on bold it, we can create different padding options and margins around it to really kind of break the page up and make it look unique to yourself.

Same is true with all the text editing sections. And obviously the icons the bullet icons here are just images, which again can be replaced by yourself, gives you the size there, if you want to replace those, you're welcome to keep them. This is a unique template that we've created specifically for Tiny Brander.

And each section you can see is over here.

So if you did want to add a completely new section similar to this, or one that had new bullet points, or one that had, you know, your image and and some more bullet points, we can easily just click plus and drag that in there. And that's going to add that new section in right there. And then you can edit that up to be exactly as you want it, I'm just going to delete that one for now. And delete the section.

So now we're back to the standard template. And you can just edit this template to make it completely unique to yourself, replace the images replace the text, you can add sections into different parts of it and then delete other sections just by simply going up to the section and deleting it.

If you don't like the step section here, you could just go up there and delete that entire section.

And depending on what product you've chosen for your lead product in the product selection, step 2, you're going to want to edit this page so that it fits that product that you have there. This is particularly geared towards the face cream, rather than the under eye serum. If you chose the under eye serum for your... if you chose the under eye serum for your product, you're probably going to want to just tweak this page a little bit more.

So that's pretty much it for the templates. As you can see, each category has a different template.

If we click into the CBD one here, you can see it follows a similar theme.

But this one we've partially created a label very quickly. But the theme is similar in it's layout because we know that this is a proven template that works well. And you can just edit this as you need to in order to to suit the product you've chose.  Its particularly suited to the oil. But you could just tweak the copy slightly and make it work for the patches, and for the cream.

So those are pretty much everything you need to know about the templates have a play around, get the web design that makes it unique to you and your brand. And then you're ready to move on to the final step which is the live store details and start promoting your unique store via social media and by all means have a look at the traffic training that we have in the resource section. Because without getting traffic to this new website, it's going to be difficult to start monetizing it. And that's what I know that you guys want to do. So check out the resource section and all the different traffic trainings for the various different platforms and promote that that unique link.
